Troubleshooting

Generating

"Model unavailable" during generation. The AI provider was briefly busy or down. Your prompt is kept, so wait a moment and generate again. You won't lose anything.

A slide came back malformed. Occasionally one slide fails to render. It gets a free one-time retry in the editor, so click it. The rest of the deck is unaffected.

Generation seems stuck. It's safe to wait or close the tab; Agent keeps working on the server. If a deck never finishes, start a fresh generation, or contact support with the deck name.

Credits & billing

"Not enough credits." You can top up with a credit pack or upgrade your plan (both add credits immediately), or start the deck anyway, which generates until credits run out and keeps what it made. See Credits, plans & billing.

My plan change or purchase isn't showing. Billing updates arrive a moment after Stripe confirms. Refresh the page; if it's still off after a minute, reopen Settings → Billing & credits, or contact support.

Credits disappeared. Subscription credits refresh (and don't roll over) each cycle; pack credits last a year; canceling keeps leftovers for about a month. The breakdown is at the top of Settings. If something looks wrong, email support.

Exporting & Google

"The server is busy rendering another deck." Exports are memory-heavy and run one at a time. Wait a moment and try again.

Maximum resolution is blocked on a long deck. Maximum resolution is currently limited to 15-slide decks. Choose Higher resolution for longer ones. It's still crisp on virtually any screen.

My Google connection expired. Reconnect from the export screen (or Settings → Account) and export again. If Drive can't be reached, you can always Download .pptx instead.

My transitions didn't export. They're not supposed to. Transitions and Magic Animate play in Present mode and shared links only. Exported files are static. See Transitions.

Editing & collaboration

I can't comment. Commenting needs the Editor role; viewers are read-only. Ask the owner to make you an editor. See Sharing.

I can't reorder or add slides. These pause while the deck is still generating or while Magic Animate is running. Wait for it to finish, then try again.

Reordering warns it'll break Magic Animate. Custom transitions are choreographed for specific slide pairs, so reordering can break them. Choose Remove to drop the broken ones, or Re-animate to recompute just those. See Transitions.

Agent says someone else is editing. Only one person edits at a time. Wait a moment and resend. It clears as soon as the other edit lands.

Presenting

Presenter view didn't open. Your browser likely blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for Afterdeck and try again. On a phone, presenter view opens as an in-app overlay instead. See Presenting.

I can't find my deck

If you used Ghost mode, the deck was never saved and is gone once you leave it (and auto-deletes within seven days). That's by design. Otherwise every deck is in My Designs; try Spotlight search (⌘K) or check Shared with me if someone else owns it.
