Presenting
Run your deck full-screen straight from the browser, with a presenter view for notes, a timer, and the next slide.
You don't have to export to present. Click Present in the top bar and your deck goes full-screen, right from the browser, with any transitions you've applied playing live. No file, no setup.
(Want the audience to follow along on their own devices, with a join link and live annotations? That's a live slideshow, the other half of the Present button.)
Controls
Once you're presenting:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
→ · Space · Page Down | Next slide |
← · Page Up | Previous slide |
Home / End | First / last slide |
B or . | Blank the screen (toggle) |
Esc | Exit |
You can also click the slide, where the left edge goes back and the rest goes forward. The on-screen arrows and exit button appear when you move the mouse, then fade away. The slide counter sits at the bottom.
On a phone, swipe left and right to move between slides.
Presenter view
Click Presenter view (top-left while presenting) for the speaker's cockpit. On a laptop it opens a second window you drag to your screen while the audience sees the slides on the projector. Advancing in either moves both.
It shows:
- A timer you can pause and reset.
- The current slide, large.
- A preview of the next slide.
- The current slide's speaker notes.
Speaker notes
Notes are private to you, the presenter. To add them, drag the handle at the bottom of the slide canvas in the editor upward and type. Each slide has its own notes.
They appear in Presenter view and also travel into your PowerPoint and Google Slides exports (but not PDF). Viewers and your audience never see them.
Transitions play here
Any transitions or Magic Animate you've set up play during Present mode, the only place they animate. (They don't carry into exported files, which are static.)
Presenting a shared deck
Anyone you've shared a deck with, including through a view-only link, can present it the same way. It's a great alternative to sending a file when you just need someone to see the deck.
