The editor

A quick tour of the editing studio, from the panels and zoom controls to the top-bar actions.

When a deck opens, you're in the editor, a three-part studio with your slides on the left, the slide you're working on in the middle, and tools on the right. Here's how to find your way around.

The layout

  • Top bar. Your deck title (click to rename), and on the right: History, Present, Export, and the blue Share button. If you're a viewer on someone else's deck, you'll see a View only chip instead.
  • Slides panel (left). Every slide as a live thumbnail, numbered in order. Click one to jump to it; drag to reorder; hover for a delete button. A dashed Add slides card sits at the bottom. Collapse the panel with the chevron to get more room.
  • Canvas (center). The current slide, shown at full quality. Click elements to select and edit them.
  • Right panel. A set of tabs, most importantly Agent (the AI assistant) and Transitions. On shared decks you'll also see Chat; on redesigns, Original. Drag its left edge to resize, or close it with the ✕.

Moving around

  • Jump to a slide by clicking its thumbnail in the left panel.
  • Step through slides with the ← / → arrow keys on the canvas.
  • Zoom with the mouse wheel, or two-finger scroll to pan. A zoom pill appears once you're off "fit", where you can type an exact percentage or click Fit to screen to recenter.
