Editing with Agent
The AI assistant that lives in your editor. Ask for a change in plain words and it makes it across the deck.
The Agent tab in the right panel is the most powerful way to edit. It's a conversational assistant that reads your whole deck and makes changes for you, from fixing a typo to restructuring slides to revising the entire deck's tone in one sentence.
What you can ask for
Open the Agent tab and type a request. A few examples it shows you to start:
- "Make the title shorter"
- "Add a slide about pricing after this one"
- "Fix the typo on slide 2"
It can do much more than text tweaks. The Agent can:
- Edit any slide by rewriting the copy, changing the layout, or restyling it.
- Add, delete, move, or duplicate slides.
- Rename the deck.
- Find and place real stock photos, or show you a small gallery to pick from.
- Change the whole deck at once. Say "make it warmer," "tighten every slide," or "use a single accent color throughout" and it works through the slides one by one.
How it's different from editing by hand
Use hand editing for small, instant tweaks like moving an element, changing a color, or fixing a word. Use the Agent when you'd rather describe the result than do it yourself, or when a change spans multiple slides. Both feed the same version history, so anything the Agent does can be undone.
Choose a model and how it works
At the bottom of the chat are two pickers.
Model sets how capable the assistant is.
| Model | What it's for | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Quick | Fast text edits and simple tweaks. Doesn't "see" the slide visually. | All plans (free to use) |
| Premium | Deeper, multi-step edits, and it can see your slides. | Plus and up |
| Autonomous | Works on its own, end to end, on big jobs. | Max |
Approval sets how much it checks with you.
- Ask means you approve each edit before it runs.
- Auto-accept applies edits as the Agent makes them. This is the default.
What it costs and how much you get
- On paid plans, each AI edit spends a few credits; the exact cost is shown before it runs, and read-only steps (like the Agent looking at a slide) are free.
- Every plan includes a number of AI edits per day and per week. Free and Plus have daily limits; Pro and Max are effectively unlimited. When you hit a limit, the assistant tells you when it resets or offers an upgrade.
Full numbers are in Credits, plans & billing.
Good to know
- Your chat is saved per deck. Close and reopen the panel, or reload the page, and it's still there. Use New chat to start fresh.
- One editor at a time. If a collaborator is mid-edit, the Agent waits a moment rather than clashing with them.
- If a model is busy, you'll be offered another, and your message is kept so you don't retype it.
