Brand Studio

Build a reusable brand kit with your exact colors, fonts, logo, and voice, then let Agent design every deck around it.

Brand Studio is where you turn "make it look like us" into something Agent can actually use. A brand is your own reusable kit of exact colors, fonts, logo, aesthetic, and voice. Generate with a brand and every deck comes out unmistakably yours.

The Brands page also has ready-made brands we curate. A brand you build here is one you define and save. You use one or the other on a deck, not both.

Open Brand Studio

You can reach it three ways, all opening the same studio:

  • The Brands page → Custom brand button.
  • The Your brands rail on the Brands page (once you've made one).
  • My Designs → Brands in the left rail.

Click New brand to start from scratch, or let Agent build one from your site (next section). Everything you change autosaves as you go (you'll see Saving… then Saved).

Start from your website

If your brand already lives on a website, skip the manual setup. At the top of the brand list, find Start from your website, type your address, and press Read my site. Agent visits the page and builds a brand from what it finds:

  • Palette from the site's real colors.
  • Fonts, swapped for the closest Google Font when the exact typeface isn't available.
  • Logo, saved as the brand's primary logo asset.
  • Voice and aesthetic, read from the site's copy and look and written up as the brand description.

You land straight in the editor with everything filled in and a strip showing what was imported. Read the description Agent wrote, then tweak anything. Importing is free and doesn't spend credits.

The Create page has a shortcut too: when nothing is picked yet, the prompt box shows a Have a site? tab that jumps you right to the import.

An imported brand counts toward your plan's brand limit, same as one built by hand.

Build your brand

The studio has seven sections in the left nav. Fill in what matters to you. None are required, but the more you define, the more on-brand the result. A live preview on the right shows the direction (it's a rough impression, not an actual slide).

SectionWhat you set
IdentityThe brand name, a one-line tagline, and a description of how decks should feel.
PaletteYour exact colors for five roles (Primary, Accent, Ink, Background, Surface) plus extras.
TypographyA font pairing. Pick a curated one, type any Google Font, or use a font you uploaded. Plus a type scale.
AssetsYour logo and any images, icons, or textures, each with a note on when to use it.
Look & VoiceAn overall aesthetic (e.g. Bold & Modern, Editorial & Warm), a density, and your tone of voice.
LegalA copyright or confidentiality footer line, optionally required on every slide.
DefaultsOptional starting points, like a preferred deck length.

The studio keeps a full undo / redo history, so experiment freely. The buttons are in the footer.

Generate with your brand

When the brand looks right, press Use this brand → in the footer. You land on the Create page with a blue brand lip under the prompt box. Write your prompt and generate as usual. Agent uses your colors, fonts, logo, voice, and aesthetic instead of a ready-made brand.

Share a brand

Brands can be shared so a whole team designs from the same kit. Open a brand and press Share:

  • Invite by email, or turn on Anyone with the link.
  • Viewers can use the brand to generate their own decks.
  • Editors can change the brand itself.

The share controls work just like deck sharing. See Sharing & live editing for how roles, invites, and links behave.

Good to know

  • Available on every plan. Free includes 1 brand, Plus includes 3, and Pro and up have no limit. Brands shared with you never count against yours.
  • Exported fonts: your custom fonts show perfectly in Afterdeck and in the rasterized design. But when a deck is exported to Google Slides, editable text falls back to a system font, because Slides strips embedded fonts. The frozen design keeps your exact typeface. See Exporting for the full fidelity picture.
  • Deleting a brand is permanent and owner-only.
