Beautify
Upload an existing PDF or PowerPoint and let Agent rebuild the design while keeping your content.
Already have slides that just look rough? Beautify keeps your content and rebuilds the design from scratch, with premium typography, real layouts, and considered color. It's the fastest way to make a working deck look professionally designed.
What Beautify does (and doesn't)
- Keeps: your words, your structure, your data, your images.
- Rebuilds: layout, typography, color, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
Think of it as handing your deck to a designer who reworks the look without rewriting your message.
Start a Beautify
-
On the Create page, switch the toggle from New deck to Beautify.
-
Drop in your file. Drag a PDF or PowerPoint (.pptx) onto the dropzone, or click to browse. If you've connected Google, you can import straight from Google Drive. (You can also reach this from Add references → Improve from PDF / PowerPoint / Google Slides in New-deck mode.)
-
Add a note (optional). Tell Agent anything it should know, like "keep it formal" or "our brand color is navy." Otherwise just press Improve.
-
Let Agent read it. First you'll see Preparing your deck while Agent reads each source slide and notes its images. Then it plans and redesigns each slide, one at a time, exactly like a normal generation.
Accepted files are PDF and PowerPoint (.pptx). Word documents aren't supported as a base deck, so paste their text as a prompt instead.
Choose how much freedom Agent has
Once a file is attached, a Mode menu appears. It controls how closely Agent sticks to your original content.
| Mode | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Auto | Agent scans the deck and picks Strict or Creative for you. | The safe default. |
| Strict | Every word preserved exactly; only layout and styling change. | Business and work decks where the wording matters. |
| Creative | Keeps your ideas but reworks copy, layout, type, palette, and pacing. | Sparse decks, brainstorms, or anything you want to feel fully designed. |
After it's done
You get a normal Afterdeck deck: fully editable, ready to refine, present, and export. Your editable text and images carry through, so when you export back to PowerPoint or Google Slides your collaborators can keep editing.
