Video, GIFs, and music in your slides

Stock footage, your own clips, YouTube, and a deck-wide soundtrack, all of it playing when you present.

Media and music in slides

Slides don’t have to be silent stills anymore. You can now put real video, GIFs, and YouTube embeds on your slides, and give the whole deck a soundtrack that plays while you present.

It all lives behind one button: Add media in the editor toolbar. The picker has three tabs (Music, GIF, and Video) and everything you insert behaves like a first-class part of the slide: drag it, resize it, layer it, and let Agent work around it.

Video, three ways

Search free stock footage right in the picker, upload your own clip, or paste a YouTube link to embed a real player. Once a video is on the slide, you control how it behaves on stage: autoplay, sound and volume, looping, playback speed, trim points, how it fills its frame, and the poster shown before it plays. YouTube embeds can start automatically, when their slide appears, or on click.

A soundtrack for the deck

Music works at the deck level: pick a track as a bed for the whole presentation, or give a single slide its own. A calm bed everywhere, something energetic for the demo. Source it from a library of openly licensed, free-to-use music (audition tracks right in the list), upload your own audio, paste a link, or pull a file from Google Drive. A music pill docks under the slide canvas where you can tune volume, trim the track, and set fades and crossfades.

It plays where you present

Everything above plays in Present mode, on shared links, and in a live slideshow. Your audience hears the soundtrack and sees your videos on their own devices, in sync. Exports are honest about physics: PowerPoint carries video, GIFs, YouTube, and embedded audio; Google Slides keeps GIFs animated but drops video and audio in its import; a PDF is paper. When something in your deck won’t survive the trip, Afterdeck tells you before the export, never on stage.

Open a deck, hit Add media, and give it a soundtrack. The full rundown of sources, settings, and the export table is in the Media & music docs.
